Emotions

Take it for what you want it,

Please don't twist my words.

I used to drown in these emotions,

Now they flow all around me, 

But with the way I was created,

they don't stop.

I have just learned how to direct them just enough so I don't choke and just enough where I see beauty.

Trust me it gets lonely drowning solo,

When you and God are the only ones who understand.

I'm learning that that is enough,

And I will take this time in prayer to connect to God and myself.
